Chapter 528 - 500: Wedding Night (First Update)
Returning to the Forrester Family’s old residence, the newlyweds greeted the elder members of the Forrester family in the living room, and then went back to their new room to rest.As soon as they entered the room, Simon Forrester, still under the influence of alcohol, collapsed onto the sofa and couldn’t get up.
Sienna Thornton quickly poured some warm water for him to drink and wrung a hot towel to wipe his face.
His face was flushed, head tilted back, eyes half-closed, lips slightly parted, breathing out the heavy scent of alcohol.
Sienna, still holding the towel, leaned close to him, softly caressing his flushed, hot cheeks with her small hands, worriedly saying, "Is it uncomfortable? Maybe you shouldn’t take a shower tonight, just change into your pajamas and rest directly?"
He chuckled softly and grabbed her hand to kiss it a few times, then struggled to get up.
Afraid he might fall, Sienna followed him.
As he walked, he removed his suit, and Sienna followed behind, picking up his clothes all the way to the bathroom, and then didn’t come out again...
***Sweet Moments on Wedding Day***
Late into the night, the voices of the Forrester family’s elders could still be heard talking in the inner hall.
In the new room,
Simon Forrester hugged Sienna Thornton from behind, occasionally kissing her temple.
"Mrs. Forrester..." He held her tighter, "From today on, you are my Mrs. Forrester."
Shyly, Sienna snuggled further into his embrace, her face visibly blushing.
Hugging him, she murmured softly, "Today was tiring, but I’m very happy. Becoming your wife is the greatest happiness and luckiest thing in my life."
Hearing his love’s affirmation, Simon Forrester felt thrilled and excited, with dopamine racing throughout him. At this moment, he had only one thought—he wanted to give her the very best of everything!
He was about to kiss her when suddenly a loud noise erupted outside the door, with Logan Lockwood and Jack Hawthorne’s boisterous shouts, accompanied by Gage Grant’s strongly accented teasing voice.
Simon Forrester’s scalp tingled.
Sienna quickly hid under the covers, leaving only her eyes visible: "What time is it? Did they sleep for just two or three hours and suddenly remember they hadn’t teased the newlyweds tonight?"
"They really did!" Simon Forrester pulled back the covers and got out of bed, "I’ll go see." He said as he grabbed the robe at the foot of the bed and put it on, tying the belt as he walked out.
He opened the door and immediately shut it behind him, facing the three drunkards in the courtyard with a darkened expression: "If you’ve drunk too much, why aren’t you sleeping at home? What are you doing here?"
Jack Hawthorne grinned and said, "We weren’t done teasing the newlyweds, couldn’t sleep at home!"
Simon Forrester tightened the belt of his robe and stood at the porch, looking down at the three of them: "Come on, let me see what you’ve got!"
Logan scratched his nose, looked around, and asked, "Where are those three girls? They teased us this morning and then disappeared at night?"
Gage Grant got annoyed just at the mention of the three bridesmaids and snorted, "They got taken away by those pretty boys this morning."
Logan scratched his left nostril and then ran his fingers through his hair with the same hand, sniffing and saying, "These young girls really don’t know what they’re missing, everyone’s going for older men, but they don’t get it!"
Seeing that these guys showed no sign of stopping, Simon Forrester shouted towards the inner hall, "Grandpa, please come out!"
Gage Grant hurriedly raised a finger to his lips and said, "Shh, don’t call Grandpa Forrester out..."
Before he could finish, Old Master Forrester’s voice boomed out, "What is it, Jules?"
Soon after, the elderly man shouted, "Sylvia, Sylvia! Go see what’s happening with Jules!"
Within seconds, the three drunkards vanished without a trace.
Simon Forrester shook his head in exasperation and instructed the servants to close the main gate tightly, forbidding those men from causing any more chaos.
He returned to the room where Sienna was still hiding under the blanket, with only her fuzzy head sticking out. He lay back in bed and pulled her, blanket and all, into his embrace.
She giggled under the covers: "This feels like a kind of food..."
She originally wanted to say "a hot dog roll," but on second thought, didn’t want to imply she was the hot dog. Before she could change the words, she heard him laughing softly into her ear, "Sushi roll?"
"Huh?" Sienna didn’t understand.
He laughed, "You’ll know when we go to Japan in a few days..." With that, he burrowed into the blanket, hugging her close, "Sleep now, it’s late."
She turned to peck him on the cheek, "Goodnight, hubby."
"Goodnight, wife... I love you."
"I love you too, so much, so much..."
.
The next morning,
The door to the new room was being banged on loudly—
"Jules, Annie, wake up! The auspicious time is approaching!" Old Master Forrester shouted from outside the door.
Sienna Thornton sat up abruptly, shaking the still-sleeping Simon Forrester awake: "Get up! Grandpa is knocking on the door!"
Simon turned over and didn’t move for a while. After some time, he sat up with a somewhat annoyed expression on his face.
"Jules, Annie?" Old Master Forrester was still calling from outside.
Simon Forrester called back towards the door, "We’re up!"
Finally, it quieted down outside.
Sleepily, Sienna crawled to the foot of the bed and pulled a dark blue cotton robe over Simon’s bare shoulders: "Hurry and wash up, otherwise grandpa will start calling again."
After saying this, she went to the bathroom to wash up. When she came out, Simon Forrester was still sitting on the bed daydreaming, not looking too well.
Patting her facial moisturizer on gently, she sat next to him, asking, "What’s wrong? Are you uncomfortable?"
Simon patted his forehead, "My head hurts a bit."
Sienna sighed and got onto the bed, letting his head rest in her lap, her small hands massaging his acupressure points.
After massaging for a while, she asked, "Feeling better?"
Simon frowned and shook his head, pressing his temples and rubbing them with his own fingers for a few moments before sitting up decisively.
"It’s nothing, I’ll take some painkillers later."
He stood up to wash up, and Sienna prepared a glass of water on the table, rummaging through his desk drawer to find a pack of headache pills, placing them out for him, before going to change her clothes.
After showering, Simon Forrester took his pills and styled his hair stylishly in front of the mirror.
He changed into a brand-new dark suit. Sienna Thornton donned a red fitted dress and red high heels, her hair pulled back into a Korean-style ponytail, looking elegant and lively.
They held hands and went to the inner hall.
Old Master Forrester and Grandma Forrester were already seated on the master chairs, waiting for them to come and serve tea, while Zane Forrester and his wife sat to the side sipping tea.
Old Master Forrester cheerfully pulled out two large red envelopes from his chest pocket before drinking the tea, handing them to the newlyweds.
Sienna gladly accepted them. Simon took his and handed it to her as well.
The servant brought over sweet tea, and Sienna and Simon together served tea to the four elder members of the Forrester family.
When it came to Zane Forrester, Sienna was stuck for a while, unable to bring herself to say "Dad."
Zane Forrester’s face fell, and he didn’t take the tea, just sat there looking at her, as if he wouldn’t drink it until she called him "Dad."
