"Then Captain Sutton, could you please explain what exactly happened tonight?"

Seth Sutton, hands in his pockets, turned to glance at Zachary Grant, then at Simon Forrester and his wife, chuckling, "How should I put it? Tonight we planned to treat the neighbors to dinner, but then two old men started a fight, and one of them called out thugs to capture the other old man’s grandson and his friends. They even brought the old man’s granddaughter-in-law to this room, not sure if it was for interrogation or what."

The other reacted immediately, shouting, "What? Thugs? With the nationwide crackdown on crime, who dares to secretly maintain a gang in the city? This is outrageous! Arrest all those involved!"

Hearing this, Zachary Grant was furious and stood up yelling, "Get your chief over here!"

The leading policeman ordered the arrest, Zachary Grant and the Eldest Grant resisted, and when Grant Two and Grant Three also joined the fray, the scene became chaotic.

Old Master Blackwood scanned the faces of everyone in the study, his gaze finally locking on Simon Forrester and his wife, smiling, "When I was coming down the mountain, I saw your house’s lights off, so I thought you both would be here." Compared to the stern tone he used with Zachary Grant, the old master now appeared much more amiable.

Simon Forrester glanced at Zachary Grant and said to Old Master Blackwood, "Grandpa Grant said he was hosting a banquet for the neighbors tonight, who knew it would be a trap."
