Ghost Exorciser: The Oust Fake Heiress Strikes

Chapter 561: Contract

Chapter 561: Contract

Lana raised an eyebrow."The agreement?"

She opened the contract again.

"The agreement where I willingly allow you to devour my soul, steal my body, consume my remaining lifespan, and then attack my family members afterward?"

Vox nodded as though everything written there was perfectly reasonable. "Exactly."

Seeing his entitled expression, Lana could not help laughing. The sound immediately irritated him. "You seem very confident."

She tapped the unfinished signature at the bottom. "Looks like you’ve finally met your match."

Vox’s eyes narrowed. "What do you mean?"

Lana pointed toward the incomplete signature. "See this?"

Vox nodded reluctantly.

"If only you had signed a little more, things might have turned out differently."

Lana smiled.

"Fortunately for me, I don’t make a habit of signing contracts without reading them."

As she spoke, she reached into her bag and pulled out a small recording device.

The room became quiet. Vox stared at the device.

For a few seconds, he remained completely silent.

Then suddenly, he burst into laughter. It sounded almost as if he had heard the funniest joke in existence.

Finally, he stopped. "You do realize that I’m immortal, right?"

His smile returned. "Human laws mean absolutely nothing to me."

Lana chuckled. "Who said I was planning to take you to court?"

She casually waved the recorder. "I never intended to use this as legal evidence."

Vox’s smile slowly faded.

Then Lana leaned forward. "If you don’t want your soul completely exorcised and erased from existence by my hand, then you’ll agree to my conditions and leave this girl’s body."

For the first time, confusion appeared in Vox’s eyes.

He stared at her. Then suddenly his expression changed. A trace of unease flashed across his face.

"What are you talking about?"

Lana smiled mysteriously. "I have something to show you."

She reached into her storage talisman and slowly pulled out another contract.

The moment Vox saw it, his pupils contracted violently.

Disbelief filled his face. "No..."

Lana smiled wider. "Yes."

She lightly waved the document. "You are understanding correctly."

The ancient paper radiated a terrifying aura.

"This happens to be a genuine Demon Contract."

She pointed toward Axel. "My uncle just happens to possess one."

Vox’s face instantly darkened. Lana continued calmly.

"As long as I play the recording we just made, every word you agreed to will be transferred onto this contract."

Her smile became even brighter. "Then I’ll sign it."

She paused. "And you’ll die."

The room became deadly silent.

"You’ve already consumed an enormous amount of the lifespan of this girl. So the term that you would leave this girl’s body and the girl will live a good life... will be counted as a lie."

Lana crossed her arms.

"Once the contract binds you, exorcising you will become incredibly easy."

She smiled pleasantly.

"You’ll disappear completely."

Hearing those words, Vox clenched his fists so tightly that his knuckles cracked.

His eyes locked onto hers. "You are very smart."

Lana nodded. "What can I do?"

She shrugged. "Smartness often comes to people who actually have moral boundaries."

The veins on Vox’s forehead bulged. For several seconds, he remained silent.

Finally, he exhaled heavily. "Fine."

His voice sounded unwilling. "We’ll do it your way."

He glared at her. "As long as I fulfill your conditions, you’ll destroy the recording. This is the deal."

Lana nodded.

This time, Vox carefully summoned another contract.

Unlike before, his expression was completely serious.

He no longer dared to play tricks.

One mistake could result in complete annihilation.

When Lana received the contract, she examined every line carefully.

Axel stood beside her and reviewed it as well.

The two of them checked every clause repeatedly, ensuring there were no hidden loopholes.

Only after confirming everything did they finally sign.

The moment the final signature appeared, the contract emitted a brilliant flash of light.

The agreement stated that Vox will leave the girl’s body and take over Lana’s body if he can.

Almost instantly, Vox crashed against an invisible barrier.

Boom!

The entire room shook.

He attempted to attack Lana, but the contract prevented him.

His own power rebounded against him instead. The backlash forced him to stagger backward.

Seeing this, Lana remained perfectly calm. She had anticipated this outcome long ago.

The protective barrier around her instantly vanished. Vox’s eyes lit up.

Seeing an opportunity, he lunged forward.

But this time... Lana moved. Her hand shot forward with incredible speed.

Before Vox could react, her fingers wrapped tightly around his throat.

His eyes widened. At the same moment, pure mystical energy began flowing through her arm.

An unbearable sensation spread through his entire body.

It felt as though countless burning needles were piercing his soul. "What is this?!"

Vox screamed. "Let me go!"

His body struggled violently.

However, Lana’s grip never loosened. Instead, she chuckled. "Welcome."

A mysterious smile appeared on her face. "Welcome to the trap I designed specifically for you."

The next second, white mystical energy gathered above her palm.

A glowing sphere slowly formed.

The moment Vox saw it, terror filled his face. "No!"

For the first time in centuries, genuine fear appeared in his eyes.

He had never imagined that he would lose to someone so young. But when he saw the color of her energy, he finally understood.

Completely pure white. His mind went blank.

’Impossible. How can someone’s mystic energy be this pure? No... It’s more like holy energy rather than mystic energy. No... this cannot be happening...’

Before he could finish the thought, Lana pressed the glowing sphere directly into his forehead.

The moment it entered... a horrifying scream erupted throughout the room.

The sound was filled with agony.

Finally, after several moments, the screams stopped.

Lana slowly withdrew her hand.

Yasmin’s body immediately collapsed onto the bed.

Looking at the limp figure, Lana casually nudged her shoulder.

"Oh, come on."

She shook her lightly. "Don’t act like this is the end."

The next second, Yasmine’s limp body suddenly began to tremble violently.

Her fingers twitched unnaturally before one of her arms shot forward toward Lana’s throat with frightening speed.

However, Lana had already been prepared for such a move.
