the instant this voice resounded in pamela's ears, she saw gunnarr move as fast as lightning, and then he appeared in front of corey, not her!
he saw him raise his fist, and in an instant, brown gauntlets that were lit up with runes appeared on his hands. without wasting a single second, gunnarr's fist moved towards corey's head at a speed that caused the wind to be in chaos and the ground to tremble.
all of this happened in a span of two seconds.
pamela instinctively stretched out her hand to protect corey. although she knew that corey was much stronger than even an elite tier 2, the power behind the fist was immense and she wasn't sure if corey would be able to handle it.

the instant pamela had this thought, an extremely loud clang resounded, and she frowned heavily due to how loud the sound was. however, her eyes widened as she gazed at a scene that she never expected to see.
right in front of her was corey holding his axe diagonally in front of him to block gunnarr's massive fist.
"impossible! what are you?! a tier 2 outsider like you should not have this sort of strength!"
gunnarr shouted with his voice filled with disbelief and a tinge of suspicion as he watched corey block his fist with his axe. although he could see corey's arms trembling, the mere fact that corey was still standing in one piece was a testament to his strength that he was not meant to have as a tier 2.
"don't tell me you're actually a tier 4? have you been secretly hiding your actual tier?"
gunnarr asked since the only answer he could come up with for corey's ridiculous strength was the fact that corey was hiding his actual tier.
however, to his surprise and disbelief, corey nodded.
"you're right..."
corey deliberately paused, and gunnarr's ears perked up.
"...i'm actually a tier 10 in case you don't know."
she pointed at the ground with two fingers and then raised her fingers. gunnarr frowned but didn't stop his barrage of punches, however, a second later, he frowned.
he looked down and his eyes widened when he saw multiple tentacles made out of stone come at him at an extremely fast speed. he stopped punching, and then he moved back.
the first earth tentacle appeared before him and he dodged it. the second came and he also dodged, but when the third tentacle appeared before him, he punched it.
the instant he punched it, the earth tentacle shattered, but the debris and shattered parts moved towards gunnarr and attached themselves to his body at a speed he could not react to.
"what the?"
gunnarr's eyes widened in disbelief as he felt his body becoming heavier after the debris and remnants of the earth tentacle attached to his body.
he moved his hand, but when he did, something he would have never expected to happen in his entire life and even after his death happened.
the lightning surrounding his body paused, and a second later, they moved and bound him.
"what?!"
gunnarr shouted in disbelief as he looked at his power, which was stopping him from moving.
"how-!!!"
he was about to speak but the remaining earth tentacles bound him in place, and the instant this happened, he heard it and felt it.
he felt the space behind him getting manipulated, and then he heard the last sound before his death.

two seconds after he heard this sound, the world spun before his eyes and he suddenly had a thought.

with this thought as his last and final thought, the light in his eyes faded away.
