These were hobgoblins that had appeared around her.

But it didn't seem like Moon was scared to see these hobgoblins.
Rather, it seemed like she was relieved to see them here.
The one that was disturbed by the appearance of these hobgoblins was actually the demon commander.
When these hobgoblins appeared, the demon commander could feel that there was this familiar feeling coming from them. It was as if there was something inside of the hobgoblins that seemed similar to the corruption energy inside the demon commander.

Instead, they positioned themselves around Moon and looked like they were prepared to protect her from everything. At the same time, it seemed like they were waiting for her orders.
The demon commander deeply knitted his brows when he saw the way that the hobgoblins ignored him.
There was black corruption energy that came out of these limbs that kept them moving even after being cut off. So the hobgoblins had to cut them a second time, cutting them into pieces to make sure that they wouldn't be able to do anything.
Though that just meant that the hands had to take some time to recover since the black corruption energy kept them alive.
It seemed like the hobgoblins would be overwhelmed with the way that the limbs were surrounding them.
It seemed like as long as they didn't have a way to deal with them, the hobgoblins would be surrounded and then smothered by these limbs.
Before that could happen, Moon suddenly raised the branch from the Tree of Life in her hand. As soon as she raised the branch, there were roots that came out of the ground. These roots were different from before, they didn't try to wrap around the limbs that were there in the air.
Instead, it formed a single root spear that was aimed at the demon commander.
The demon commander had been so focused on the hobgoblins that he didn't have time to raise his guard until it was too late. At the same time, there was nothing that the demon commander could do since all of its limbs were focused on attacking the hobgoblins.
The root spear pierced right into the chest of the demon commander and there was this smoke that came from the hole that it pierced through.
The demon commander looked like it was being drained of its vitality as it suddenly looked
like it was aging.
It was as if it was losing all of its life force with the way that wrinkles appeared.
In no time at all, the demon commander suddenly fell forward towards the root spear, driving it further into its body.
The more that the root spear pierced into the demon commander, the more that it started to
burn.
Eventually, the demon commander turned into ashes when it collapsed on the ground.
