Chapter 135 Applying for Overnight Stay
Chapter 135 Applying for Overnight Stay
Because he was going to stay overnight, Yu Heng went to Qin Lu's office.
"My beloved and beautiful Teacher Qin?" He walked to the desk with a smile. "Busy?"
"What?" Qin Lu rolled her eyes at him. "Say what you want."
"I'd like to apply for overnight accommodation," Yu Heng said directly.
Qin Lu looked up at him: "Staying out overnight?"
"Well, since I'm already renting a place outside, I might as well live outside," Yu Heng said.
Qin Lu narrowed her eyes: "You're not satisfied with staying out three nights a week?"
"Three nights isn't enough," Yu Heng smiled. "There's too much to do, and it's too much trouble to run around."
Qin Lu gave a light snort, pulled a "Student Off-Campus Accommodation Application Form" from the drawer, and handed it over: "Fill it out."
Yu Heng took the form and glanced at it.
You need to fill in basic information, the reason for the application, and your off-campus address.
At the very end, there are two more columns: one for the counselor's comments and the other for the parents' comments and signatures.
He picked up a pen from the pen holder on the table and began to fill in the blanks.
He quickly filled in the basic information and wrote in the application reason section, "Due to personal study and practice arrangements, I need a relatively independent and stable living environment, so I am applying for off-campus accommodation."
The off-campus address listed is the address of the villa I currently live in.
After filling out the first part, he pushed the form back to Qin Lu: "Teacher Qin, please sign your opinion."
Qin Lu took the form, wrote "The situation is true, I recommend approval" in her opinion column, and signed and dated it.
Then she pointed to the bottom of the form: "Here, parent's signature. It must be signed by the guardian. You can't sign on behalf of someone else. And I need to verify with the family."
Yu Heng glanced at it: "Is it necessary? Do we really need to go through this process?"
"These are the rules." Qin Lu capped her pen and said somewhat seriously, "Yu Heng, I'm your advisor, and I have to be responsible for you."
Upon hearing this, Yu Heng pursed her lips. Being a counselor was her job, and she shouldn't let personal feelings affect her work.
He took the form back, folded it twice, and put it in his pocket: "Okay, then I'll go home this weekend."
After a few seconds of silence in the office, Qin Lu spoke again, her voice lowered: "Bai Xinran is also staying out overnight, right?"
Yu Heng didn't deny it: "Yes, she wants some too."
"You two are living together," Qin Lu said casually. "Young people these days really are..."
Yu Heng smiled, leaned forward slightly, and looked at her: "How about... you move in too?"
Qin Lu's eyelids twitched, she glared at him, her face slightly flushed: "What nonsense are you talking about!"
"I'm not lying," Yu Heng said quite seriously. "There's enough room, and it'll be convenient for you to come and go to school, saving you the trouble of driving."
Qin Lu bit her lip and after a while said, "You may be shameless, but I still have my pride!"
Yu Heng smiled and didn't continue the topic.
He walked to the window, his back to Qin Lu, and asked, "Has Lin Liyan made any moves lately?"
Qin Lu was silent for a few seconds: "I didn't answer the phone."
Yu Heng turned around to look at her.
"I replied to him with a text message," Qin Lu said, "saying that divorce is fine, but he has to leave with nothing."
"What did he say?"
"He said he'd think about it." Qin Lu forced a smile.
Yu Heng walked back to his desk and placed his hands on the surface: "Okay, let him think about it."
"I'm trying to get someone to contact Wang Wenyu," Yu Heng said, "to find a way to get her to dump Lin Liyan."
Qin Lu was taken aback: "Is it necessary?"
She didn't really understand why Yu Heng did this.
The divorce agreement has already been proposed. As long as Lin Liyan agrees to sign it, the matter will be over.
Why complicate things further?
"What do you mean by necessary or unnecessary?" Yu Heng straightened up, put his hands in his pockets, "Lin Liyan seduced his own student. I won't criticize that behavior morally, after all, I'm not exactly a person with a high moral standard either. But his infidelity is a bit unmanly."
Qin Lu pursed her lips.
"How much suffering did you endure before?" Yu Heng looked at her, "and you just got divorced so easily?"
Qin Lu said with some worry, "I'm afraid that if he does something, you'll get hurt."
Yu Heng frowned: "Based on your understanding of him, is he that kind of person?"
"No..." Qin Lu shook her head.
"Right?" Yu Heng smiled. "If he were that capable, he wouldn't have cheated on me. He would have made a clean break and filed for divorce openly and honestly."
"He really doesn't have the ability; he's always hesitant and overthinking everything he does," Qin Lu murmured.
"Don't worry," Yu Heng said, "I won't let him know."
Thinking back on everything that had happened, Qin Lu couldn't help but say subconsciously, "He really is a loser."
"Isn't it better if I am?" Yu Heng said with a smile.
Qin Lu chuckled and looked up at him: "What good are you men? Aren't you surrounded by women too? And now you're even going to live with someone."
"This is not the same thing," Yu Heng said.
Qin Lu retorted, "How can they not be the same thing?"
"No matter how many women I have, I haven't hidden it," Yu Heng said, walking up to her and placing his hand on the back of her chair. "Besides, the nature of the relationships is different."
"Love and marriage are still sacred," Yu Heng said in a lower voice. "If I choose to get married, I will definitely think about being with one person for life."
Qin Lu pursed her lips: "You? Can you do that?"
"It might not work," Yu Heng said frankly, "so I choose not to date or get married."
The most valuable thing about a person is to have self-awareness. He's divorced, so what's the point of talking about a lifelong, monogamous relationship?
People and feelings change, and right now he just wants to seize the moment.
Qin Lu was taken aback, then frowned and said, "So you can justify having so many women?"
"Why not be assertive?" Yu Heng said with a smile, "It was all consensual, wasn't it? You were, weren't you?"
Qin Lu wanted to refute, but didn't know how.
She gritted her teeth and said, "You dragged me onto this pirate ship!"
Yu Heng leaned down and whispered in her ear, his breath hot as he said, "Well, now that we're up here, we can't get down."
Qin Lu shrank her neck and raised her hand to push his shoulder: "Don't blow on me, it tickles."
"Where does it itch?" Yu Heng didn't pull away; instead, he moved even closer.
Qin Lu felt half of her body go numb, as if she had been electrocuted.
"Stop teasing me," she said in a low voice, a hint of annoyance in her tone. "You little rascal, didn't you already cause trouble yesterday?"
"Then beg me," Yu Heng said, "beg me and I'll let you go."
"Are you trying to kill me?!" Qin Lu glared at him. "Stop messing with me!"
"Hurry up, I'll do it if you don't ask me to," Yu Heng persisted.
"Oh, please, please," Qin Lu said with her eyes closed.
"What do you want from me?" Yu Heng asked, pushing his luck.
"Please, let me go!"
"Haha," Yu Heng straightened up, "Alright, then I'll let you go."
Qin Lu opened her eyes, took a breath, and looked at him angrily: "You little rascal, are you satisfied now?"
