Chapter 57 Giant Lizard? Girl?
Chapter 57 Giant Lizard? Girl?
Suddenly, Flannery collapsed to her knees, her face contorted in pain.
Badr tried to help her up, but Klein grabbed him, holding his gun and coldly aiming it at the girl kneeling on the ground, her face contorted in pain.
Sweat streamed down her forehead, her body began to spasm, trembling uncontrollably in pain, as if some evil spirit was struggling inside her, about to burst out. Her back arched, her vertebrae protruding one by one, stretching her gray vest taut.
Her mouth slowly opened, and a hiss escaped from deep within her throat.
Under the shocked gaze of the crowd, her skin began to change color, from the pink of her burns to ashen gray, from ashen gray to grayish-green, and from grayish-green to dark green.
A layer of fine granules rises on the surface of the skin, spreading from the shoulders to the arms, and from the chest to the abdomen.
Her eyes slowly opened, revealing vertical, eerily bright golden pupils.
hiss--
The girl stuck out her tongue, which was very thin and long, forked at the front, and dark purple in color. The tip of her tongue moved up and down in the air, like a snake's forked tongue probing the way. Saliva unconsciously overflowed from the corner of her mouth, dripping onto the gravel and hissing and bubbling, corroding the stone into tiny pits.
She turned her head towards Elphis, tilting it slightly, her golden eyes fixed on her dying leader, her pupils shrinking to slits.
"It's delicious..."
A hoarse voice squeezed out from his throat, accompanied by wet, amphibious panting.
Her cheeks were still those of a young girl, but her body had mutated into that of a monster, resembling a human but not quite, making her look even more bizarre and terrifying.
Klein raised his gun; his sniper rifle had been stolen by Brock, and he was now holding the tattered combination gun that the traitor Brock had given him.
boom--
The barrel exploded!
The barrel shattered in the middle, sending metal fragments flying in all directions. One fragment pierced his shoulder, while another, sharper fragment pierced straight into Klein's palm. He tried his best to endure the pain, but he couldn't suppress the scream of agony that escaped his throat.
Bella nocked an arrow, and the arrow flew, striking Flannery squarely in the chest.
The arrow struck the dark green skin and bounced off.
Flani stood up from the ground.
Her feet widened, her toes spread apart, and her toenails, thick and black, peeked out from the crack in the toe of her boot.
His body was stronger, his shoulders were as broad as a door, his arms hung at his sides, and his fingers almost touched the ground.
The vest was torn in several places, revealing dark green, bumpy skin underneath.
Badr rushed up and hugged Flani around the waist. Bell pounced on her from behind, hugging her from behind, his arms wrapped around her waist, his legs wrapped around her legs, pressing his entire weight down on her. Even so, Flani was still moving forward slowly.
The dying Elphis was the most delicious food in her senses.
Komodo dragons...
Simon unconsciously associated the animal with it.
Scavengers, dark green skin, forked tongues, and corrosive saliva.
"Let me do it."
Simon tore a strip of cloth from his already tattered burqa.
He wrapped the strip of cloth around his hands, from the palms to the backs of his hands, around his wrists twice, and then bit one end with his teeth and pulled it tight.
Badr and Bell released their grip, and Frani, now free from her burdens, approached the dying Elphis.
She suddenly stopped, her animal instincts alerting her to danger. She opened her mouth, her forked tongue sticking out, and hissed at Simon.
Simon stepped his left foot between her legs, lowered his body, and pressed his knee against her lower abdomen.
His right fist twisted out from his waist, slamming heavily into her stomach. The fist, wrapped in coarse linen strips, sank into her dark green skin, sending the force into her abdominal cavity! Her waist instantly bent over, her eyes widened, and saliva sprayed from her mouth, splattering onto Simon's sleeve.
She didn't fall; she swung her arm at him, her five fingers spread wide, her nails long and sharp, almost like claws.
Simon nimbly dodged the attack, and in the instant his claw missed, he stepped forward, cupped the girl's cheeks in his hands, and looking at the blank and confused expression on her face, Simon suppressed the last bit of pity in his heart and smashed his forehead hard against her nose!
Her forehead bone struck her cartilage, which shattered instantly with a crisp cracking sound. She let out a muffled groan as blood gushed from her nostrils.
Her head was spinning, her body was swaying and moving backward, her arms were waving in the air but she couldn't grab anything.
Simon grabbed her shoulders and slammed her back against the tree, causing the trunk to shake violently and leaves to fall.
He didn't stop, punching her in the ribs with his left fist, her abdomen with his right fist, her chest with his left fist, and her cheek with his right fist.
Each punch from the Imperial Dagger carried immense force, each strike sinking deep into her flesh.
Simon showed no mercy as his hard, dark green skin cracked inch by inch. He relentlessly attacked the girl who was both familiar and unfamiliar to him, as if he were striking an enemy. Even though he wrapped his fists with strips of cloth, his fists and his heart were still aching. But he did not stop.
"Tell me your name, tell me your profession," Simon demanded loudly after throwing another punch.
If they are still conscious, there is a possibility of being saved.
If her consciousness is completely consumed by the beast's appetite, then she has become a beast in human skin.
"Tell me your name, tell me your occupation! Hurry up!"
The deformed girl let out a painful scream, her body slumping limply as Simon raised his knee and slammed it into her abdomen.
Simon paused briefly, wishing that Franny would introduce herself with the same confidence she used to have, patting her chest and saying, "My name is Franny!"
Suddenly he heard a faint sound, like a girl's weak murmur.
The inhuman monster lowered its head and spoke slowly in a weak, hoarse voice:
"I...I'm called Frani, cough cough, I'm the boss's most...most loyal subordinate."
Simon breathed a sigh of relief. She could still be saved.
Badr handed over a bundle of rope, and Simon tied Flani up tightly and drove her toward the camp. Badr and Bell stepped forward to help carry the dying Elphes back to the camp.
Klein was sitting in front of the campfire tending to his wounds. His entire right hand was wrapped in bandages, and his eyes were closed. He looked to be in great pain.
"Franny" kept her head down the whole time, whether out of fear of him or out of guilt for almost doing something she had just done.
"Can she turn back to normal?" Simon asked Brienne in the birdcage.
Brienne thought for a long time: "It's difficult unless we can remake a white syringe according to the formula."
Just then, an old voice sounded from behind him.
"I can do it! I can save them all!"
