Chapter 24 Hell is My Home
Chapter 24 Hell is My Home
Is this...an illusion?
Startled for a moment, Sophia looked around. In front of her was a desk, the ghost book in her hand had turned into a notebook, and she held a pen in her right hand.
A pen she had never seen before.
The classroom walls are blue and white, with the area below the desks being blue and the area above the desks being pure white.
There are windows, curtains, and doors.
There was also a platform, and on the platform stood a giant dragon.
and many more!
A giant dragon is standing on the platform?!
Sophia rubbed her eyes, and when she looked again, there was a giant dragon standing there!
It's still the dragon, Destin!
The dragon Diding stood on the platform, holding a white pen in its claws, and wrote on the blackboard.
"Pay attention in class, don't look around. What are you looking at? I'm talking to you, Sophia. Stand up and read this passage to me."
"Yes!" Sophia hurriedly stood up, looking at the words on the blackboard, feeling that the words were both familiar and unfamiliar.
What was familiar was... she felt she knew this script.
What's unfamiliar is that the writing on the blackboard isn't the script of the Kingdom of Roland.
"The adults...all...say...Griffin died in the winter. I looked at the boy standing next to me and asked him...Aren't you still alive? Why do they say you died in the winter? Your...parents said so too..."
Griffin said...they can't see me...so they think I'm dead...I asked Griffin...then why can I see you?
Griffin said, "...because I have eyes that can see the dead."
Sophia stumbled through the text on the blackboard, only to find the dragon Distin on the platform clapping. Then, the scene before her eyes rapidly blurred and faded...
She also experienced a moment of disorientation.
After a brief moment of disorientation, Sophia found that the illusion had disappeared, and she was still in the same place, with the dragon Diding still beside her.
She was still holding the ghost book in her hand. She realized she could now understand the dark red ancient characters on the cover: "The Eye of the Dead".
Below are four smaller characters: "Also known as Ghost Eye".
So...this is a horror story book?
Sofia didn't turn the page, afraid that if she did, she would inexplicably find herself in some kind of illusion again.
The illusion I just experienced must have been a side effect of the 'Memory Pill'.
"Can you understand the words in this ghost book now?"
"Yes, yes, yes." Sophia replied to Distin, then thought for a moment and told Distin about her experience entering the illusion. "So... Lord Distin, why were you also in the illusion?"
"To prevent the side effects of the 'memory pills' from affecting your personality and blurring your memories."
"Oh, I see." Sophia smiled sheepishly and said, "If Lord Distin is in the illusion, I certainly won't get lost."
Sophia put the ghost book into her spatial dragon scale ring. She would read the book while stealing dragon dung when she returned to the territory of the giant dragon Diding.
Now, we need to quickly find a place to release all the piglets, calves, chicks, and lambs from the Soul Ring.
"Lord Distin, shall we return to your territory? I need to release the little animals I brought back quickly, otherwise I'm afraid they'll die in the Soul Ring if this goes on for too long."
"Send them to Lich Brian's territory and let Lich Brian raise them."
"Huh? Let a lord-level lich herd sheep and raise pigs?" Sophia was shocked. That was a lord-level lich! Letting a lich of that level herd pigs and sheep... wasn't that a bit disrespectful?
"This...isn't that inappropriate?"
"He has skeleton soldiers; he wouldn't be foolish enough to raise pigs and sheep himself. He's gone."
Using his dragon claws to seize Sophia, Diding flapped his wings and soared into the sky.
After he left, several large, dark red characters appeared on the ground: "This is not your home, this is my territory!"
Diding looked down at the words on the ground. The blue-purple lightning released by the flapping of the dragon's wings struck the ground and destroyed the words.
When he was still a fledgling dragon, the seemingly reserved but actually repressed zombie below him told him to treat this place as his home and even wanted to drag him into the stone coffin.
Now that he wants to go in, that repressed zombie won't let him in.
Glancing at the zombie that had burrowed underground, Diding flapped its wings and disappeared into the dark red clouds.
When he appeared above Lich Brian's territory with Sophia, Lich Brian's figure flashed onto the Bone Tower.
The Lich Brian had seen the crimson sky turn bluish-purple early on, accompanied by lightning and thunder.
How long has it been?
Why is this evil dragon causing him trouble again?
Diding folded his dragon wings and landed in front of the Bone Tower.
The red-eyed raven on Lich Brian's staff spread a wing and gestured to Distin with a hand gesture toward his chest: "I offer my highest respect to the mighty Lord of Thunder!"
"Shut up, you pecked the head of the evil dragon Diding when he was still a fledgling."
"Shut up, I didn't, don't talk nonsense!" The red-eyed raven flew to the lich Bryan's shoulder and covered the lich Bryan's mouth with its wing.
"Don't cover it, it'll get all hairy." Lich Brian chased away the red-eyed raven, and the eerie green soul fire landed on the dragon Diding's head. "The seed hasn't been successfully modified yet, you need to give me time."
"I'm not here to urge you to modify the plant zombie seeds, but to let you raise pigs and herd sheep."
"?" The Lich Brian's soulfire looked puzzled. "You're planning to eat zombie pigs? Skeleton sheep? What? Do you want to try what soup made from century-old sheep bones tastes like?"
"They're not zombie pigs or skeleton sheep, they're real pigs and sheep with flesh and blood." Sophia looked up at Distin. "Lord Distin, you're not going to scare them to death again, are you?"
"Let them out; they can't see me this time."
"OK."
Sophia jumped onto the Bone Tower, and the Soul Ring on her right hand flashed, revealing five piglets, two calves, a dozen chicks, and two lambs at the feet of the Lich King.
These small animals lay on the ground, barely breathing, exhaling more than they inhaled.
"It actually has flesh and blood, is this a sacrifice?" Lich Brian glanced at the livestock at his feet, then turned his soul fire to Distin: "You're developing followers in the human world, are you preparing to escape from hell?"
This way of escaping hell is a bit like a trick that devils often use. This method doesn't seem to work on you. Your dragon body is so big that if you enter a human body, you will directly burst the fragile human body.
To avoid this, you would have to go to great lengths to modify the human body, and even then, you might not succeed.
"If I respond to a call from a being in the human world, is it possible for me to appear directly in the human world?"
"Stop dreaming! Apart from undead creatures with low intelligence like skeleton soldiers, which can be summoned by humans, undead beings of your and my level cannot leave Hell at all, unless a powerful figure in the human world sets up an altar."
If it could forcibly open a passage between Hell and the human world for a short time, you might be able to escape...
"No, you've been in hell for so long, how could you not know these things? You've never thought about escaping hell, have you?!"
"Hell is my home."
"....."
Lich Brian's soul fire erupted from his eye sockets, and his bone fists hardened!
