Chapter 1560: For You, I’m Never Too Busy
Chapter 1560: For You, I’m Never Too Busy
"Of course you can." Justin Kingston stood up and handed her a business card, "Call me in advance, or you can reach me through your brother, he knows all my schedules."Jocelyn Morgan took it with both hands, "Thank you." Then she bowed deeply to him, "I’ll let you get back to work, sorry for the interruption."
With a grateful glance at him, she turned with Janelle Mills to leave.
The two girls had taken a taxi here, and as they were taking the elevator down, Jocelyn pulled out her phone to book a ride as they stepped out of the lavish hall.
A familiar Maybach drove up, stopping steadily in front of them, with Trevor in the driver’s seat visible through the lowered window.
"Get in!"
Before they could express surprise, Trevor spoke warmly.
Janelle quickly opened the backseat door, "Jocelyn, you get in first." Then she got in with Jocelyn, leaving the passenger seat empty.
"Why did you come over?" Janelle asked as she closed the car door, "Aren’t you busy today?"
"I can reschedule things, busy or not, I heard from Miss Hollis you took a taxi, I was so worried." Trevor started the car, glancing back at them as he drove, "The roads have been slippery with snow lately, there have been a lot of accidents. I’m only comfortable driving myself."
Janelle felt warmed inside, but didn’t show much happiness, as she sat beside a girl who wasn’t feeling cheerful, mindful of her emotions.
"Jocelyn, don’t worry, with CEO Kingston around, I believe he’ll help us through anything that happens."
Janelle held her hand, rubbing it in her palm with a smile, "Let’s add each other on WeChat, okay? You can chat with me whenever you’re bored, or if you’re feeling down, day or night. Or...why don’t you come stay with me for a few days? I’ll wait with you for any news from Dr. Shelby?"
Her words flowed like a warm stream, easing into Jocelyn’s heart in a real, comforting way.
Moreover, Janelle’s voice carried the sincerest emotions, soft and beautiful like dew-drenched mist at night.
Jocelyn looked at this girl beside her, her eyes dark and bright, a gentle smile on her lips, her expression seemed to cradle a wounded kitten.
"Mmm!" Jocelyn pursed her lips, nodding firmly and then took out her phone to scan and add WeChat.
Trevor glanced backward and asked, "So where to now?" willingly offering to be their driver.
Jocelyn replied, "How about you drop me home first?"
"Okay."
So, the car headed towards the Morgan family vicinity while Janelle kept Jocelyn company, chatting to lighten the mood along the way.
Upon getting out, Janelle also stepped out, "Jocelyn, let’s stay in touch always?"
"Alright, thank you for today." Jocelyn gazed deeply at her, offering a smile, suddenly feeling fond of this girl.
Then the two waved goodbye.
It wasn’t until Jocelyn walked into the yard that Janelle got into the passenger seat, watching her silhouette slowly drift away as Trevor drove off.
"Miss Mills, aren’t you supposed to report to the piano training school today?" Trevor had been keeping track of this for her.
The girl turned her gaze, "Thank you, Mr. Trevor, for your concern. Yes, I need to report there this afternoon, and I’ll start teaching the kids officially tomorrow."
"Shall I take you to the school now?" Trevor asked, "Where is it? Let me know."
Janelle looked at him teasingly, "Director Trevor not busy, huh?"
"For you, never busy." Trevor replied gently, then looked at her for a moment, "No matter what, just give me a call, and I’ll be there right away."
He felt she looked even more beautiful today, and upon seeing her kindness, his affection for her grew even more.
