Vampire's Veil Of Obsession

Chapter 109: Only One

Chapter 109: Only One

Chapter 109: Only OneLilia stepped out of the bathroom, her hair slightly damp—but not too damp. She had promised herself she wouldn’t act awkward or think about what she had

Then, to her shock, he took her hand and pressed a gentle kiss to her knuckles.

"You’ll be the last and only one I’ll be doing this for. Sweetheart, this dress looks so stunning on my breathtaking wife," he murmured.

Lilia’s heart fluttered at his words, but what made her body shiver with happiness was the hand kiss—she nodded before she spoke, "Thank you. Now go dress up."

"As you wish," Zethan spoke in a devilish whisper. But before she could respond, he tugged his towel off.

"Zethan!" she gasped, stiffening.

Zethan chuckled, amused by her reaction.

"Oh, for goodness’ sake, Zethan! I didn’t mean it that way!" she exclaimed, covering her face with her palms as she turned to the other side.

"You don’t have to be shy," he teased, grinning. "You’ve seen this Daddy already."

Her entire body locked up again.

’Daddy’? Why—why did he have to say it like that? she screamed internally.

"This bad man," she muttered under her breath.

"Mmm. A very bad one indeed," he replied, smirking.

Lilia stood there frozen, her back still turned, refusing to face him. She had completely forgotten just how bold—and shameless—this man really was.

After some time, Zethan approached Lilia again—and to her surprise, he was already dressed.

He looked breathtaking.

A classic black suit similar to hers clung to his tall frame, sharp and tailored to perfection. Beneath it, a crisp white shirt added contrast, pristine and smooth. A diamond-like kerchief peeked from his breast pocket, catching the light ever so subtly. His watch gleamed, polished and expensive, radiating quiet elegance. His shoes—black, shining, flawless—completed the look.

Lilia’s gaze trailed down to her feet as she remembered she hadn’t even worn her shoes. She moved toward the box placed near the corner to retrieve them, but just as she did, Zethan walked over.

"Wife, sit on the bed."

Without a word, she followed his words as he knelt before her.

Her heart skipped.

He gently took one of her heels, then the other, slipping it onto her feet with surprising care. But then—he cursed under his breath.

"Oh, f*ck..." he murmured low, his voice rough, almost a growl as his hands cradled her other foot, caressing her small feet with his thumbs. "How I want to tear this dress off you and fuck you straight."

Butterflies danced in her stomach.

Lilia’s eyes flew wide open as she gasped.

Zethan chuckled, dark and amused.

"Once we get back home..." He looked up at her, his gaze burning. "I’ll make good on that. I’ll fuck you for a week—straight."

She stared at him, completely stunned. It wasn’t just his words—it was the raw certainty in them, the hunger in his tone.

"That’s impossible, Zethan!" she burst out, looking at him like he’d lost his mind.

But instead of backing down, Zethan slowly raised his head, a devilish grin curling on his lips.

"You haven’t seen the kind of gifts I have yet."

Lilia gave him a half-glare. "That’s not a gift. That’s madness."

Zethan nodded solemnly, as if agreeing. "Of course. Very mad. Mad for you, sweetheart."

She blinked. Was he flirting? Teasing?

But the look in his eyes wasn’t playful anymore—it was serious, intense. He meant every word.

Then his voice softened. "Are you ready?"

She nodded, her voice quiet. "Yes... I am."

Zethan finally rose, tall and confident, and offered her his arm.

And then, as they walked toward the door, she heard him. He finally spoke.

"I will also take that as you agreeing to the week of straight sex."

"You’re so impossible."

She spoke quietly, almost under her breath her face looking like a ripe tomato.

Then he turned to her, and she added, "You’re saying you could do something like that to me for a whole week, yet you’re the one asking for a... a quickie this morning?"

Zethan fell silent. As he turned toward her, he leaned in, his lips hovering dangerously close. Lilia’s breath hitched, her cheeks flushing.

Then he spoke, voice low. "Did you search it?"

Lilia quickly shook her head, lowering her gaze. "I didn’t," she whispered. "I already knew what it meant."

Zethan narrowed his eyes. "You’re lying. Then look at me and tell me you knew what it meant."

She took a few deep breaths before lifting her gaze to meet his. Their eyes locked, and after a tense pause, she shook her head.

He pressed again, "Did you search it?"

She looked down, avoiding his stare. "Let’s go. We’re already getting late," she said quietly, reaching for his hand and opening the door.

They stepped out, closing the door behind them. Zethan let out a soft chuckle, rubbing his hands over his face as he shook his head. Then he simply stared at Lilia for a moment.

They walked together toward the elevator. The doors pinged and slid open. Once inside, the elevator doors closed.

After a moment of silence, Lilia finally spoke. "Zethan..."

He turned to her with a hum, moving to touch her hair.

She hesitated, then asked softly, "What if I am pregnant?"
