it was last night when they drove through the empty dark road with the light full beam as the car moved at full speed. garrof got both his hands on the steering wheel his expression was tightened the same way as lloyd thought he tried to remain calm, meanwhile, lory checked from the digital map on her phone how far they were from the location.

suddenly garrof's phone rang again, and in a second lloyd answered the phone "dan, what happened?"

dan only says two words "they here!" and the phone cuts off abruptly.

suddenly they felt a cold piercing their skin, garrof then saw the windows suddenly become foggy not long after the entire street was covered in thick fog.

when lory opened his eyes, they glowed with purple light at the same time the fog grew thicker and thicker until garrof couldn't see the road ahead of him.

garrof and lloyd were bewildered as they saw lory climb onto the car's roof. lloyd didn't know what lory wanted to do so he pulled himself out the window to follow her, it was then he saw a pair of white wings spread gracefully behind lory's back.

her beautiful purple eyes turned to lloyd, "i will save them, you go on your own!"

she gave clear but brief orders without a slight hesitation, lloyd was overwhelmed by the presence of the legendary white rings thus the words he wanted to say were stuck in his throat.

lory gave a small nod after that he stomped his foot and like a bullet he shot through the thick fog and disappeared into the distance.

"this is because of that damn weapon called dragna, i heard that each weapon has a unique character, i don't know what kind of dragna injured owen but the wound won't heal even though he has consumed health potions.

"this is the last..." owen took a small green bottle from his trouser pocket and forced owen to drink it.

"is this okay...don't you need it" concern was clear on lydia's tired face.

"don't worry, garrof and lloyd are already on their way, we just need to hold on!" and said with a reassuring smile.

later on, the first voice grumbled, "hey are so good at hiding just like rats!"

lydia and dan reflexively held their breath and shrank their necks trying to minimize their presence as much as they would, hopefully, those people wouldn't find them."are you sure they are here!"

lydia and dan looked at each other in shock, they didn't know they had a tracking device, no wonder they found it so easily but where did they put the tracking device, he had checked everything!
